The Right Way to Get Rid of Bed Bugs

We don’t treat just the visible bugs. We focus on the actual hiding spots, giving you confidence that the problem will be properly handled the first time.

That means:

  • We inspect ALL areas of infestation, not just the bed
  • We walk you through exactly what we see and where we see it
  • We tailor treatment to your scenario, not a cookie-cutter approach

Straightforward steps to get it done

Do I Really Have Bed Bugs?

The fact is, bites alone don’t confirm bed bugs. Look for:

  • Live bugs: flat, reddish-brown, and about the size of an apple seed
  • Eggs or shed skins: small, dull, flush with seams
  • Dark patches on sheets or mattress seams (those are droppings)
  • A musty smell, but mostly only in more serious infestations

Where to really look: mattress seams, bed frame joints, behind headboards, baseboards, and seams between furniture near anywhere you sit or sleep. Spotting signs early helps you stay in control and prevents a bigger problem.

Seeing even one or two signs makes it crucial to get a professional inspection, as it significantly increases the chances of fully resolving the problem instead of guessing.

Why Won’t Bed Bugs Go Away?

You get everything done; you even get one of those chemical sprays from the shop. And somehow…the bites keep coming.

This is what’s going on: bed bugs live in cracks and seams where a spray can’t reach, and the eggs keep hatching even after the bed bugs you could see are gone. Left unchecked, they can spread beyond the original room, onto furniture, into adjoining units, or even into other rooms. This is an especially big issue in multi-unit buildings, hotels, and offices – all places where people and furniture move freely.

That is exactly why we don’t just treat what’s visible. With bed bugs, it’s all about that – finding the rest is the key to giving you confidence that the problem will be fully eradicated.

So our commercial pest control team follows the same principle when you are experiencing an infestation: a good exterminator treats the source, not what your guests or tenants see.

What to Expect When You Call Enviro Guard?

We’re straightforward because you shouldn’t have to sign up for something you don’t know about:

Inspections
we look at the mattress, frame, furniture, and surrounding areas
Assessment
we let you know exactly what we see and what it means
Treatment plan
tailored to your property and situation, and we explain it before we start
Treatment
where the bed bugs actually live, not where they are easy to see
Follow-up
we come back to verify they’re genuinely gone, not just quiet for a bit

Need help doing something else? Ask. That’s part of the job, not an interruption to it.

How Much Do Bed Bug Services in Las Vegas Cost?

It depends, and what someone says that number sight unseen is a pure guess. What it really comes down to:

  • Size of the property
  • How far the infestation has spread
  • Which rooms are affected
  • What method your treatment needs to use
  • How many visits it will probably be

Bed bug removal services are also measured differently for a one-room unit, an entire home, or a commercial space with a lot of rooms/units involved. We inspect first and then give you an accurate number based on the condition we find, not a vague estimate.

What Should I Do Before You Show Up?

A bit of hard work will make bed bug treatment more effective:

  • Wash bedding and infested fabric in high heat
  • Remove clutter from around beds, seating and furniture
  • Vacuum seams on mattresses, baseboards and furniture (empty the bag outside)
  • Rubbish: leave furniture where it is. Moving it from room to room or unit to unit may help the problem spread.

You don’t need to be overly concerned about it. Your technician will guide you through what is and is not applicable to your situation.

How Long Will Bed Bug Removal in Las Vegas Take?

Most treatments take a few hours, with eggs hatching after the first visit, so a second visit is often necessary. The entire process usually spans a week or more, and we’ll keep you updated at each step to ease your concerns.

We won’t promise a set number of visits before we have even seen the property. What we will do is be very clear about where we are after each step.

How Do I Prevent Bed Bugs From Showing Up Again?

Afterward, a few simple habits will keep them away:

  • Inspect luggage after traveling, or after your guests have checked out if you are a rental or a hotel. It’s the most common way they get from place to place.
  • Check secondhand or returned furniture before it goes back into use, especially mattresses and couches.
  • Check mattress seams and furniture now and then. It’s a lot easier to catch something early than it is to catch something late, especially in properties with high turnover.
  • Follow whatever we tell you to do after treatment. We don’t do it halfway; we write specifically for your space.

No one can guarantee bed bugs won’t return, but inspecting luggage, secondhand furniture, and following our post-treatment advice significantly reduces the risk and helps catch issues early, giving you peace of mind.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can bed bugs move to other rooms?

No, but if you move bedding/furniture or you have multiple units or high turnover, it’s possible. It’s exactly why we check beyond the bed.

Can they come back after being treated?

Yes, usually when they push through an unhatched egg, or from a fresh infested source like a travel case or guests. All the follow-ups and a little bit of keeping an eye on things are heavily on your end, though.

Do they only exist in mattresses?

No. Beds, bed frames, baseboards, outlets, and upholstered furniture (couches, office seating, and such) develop colonies too.

Can I stay on-site?

Yes, unless we have to leave an area we are treating. We’ll let you know prior to service so you have no surprises.

How many bed bug treatments should I get?

It depends on how established the infestation is. We’ll give you an estimate after we’ve actually inspected, not a blanket answer.

How soon should I call for bed bug removal services?

The sooner the better. Bed bugs won’t just go away by themselves, and the more time you wait, the more they’ll spread. It’s like a business where you have guests, tenants, or employees on-site.

Ready to get rid of bed bugs?

You don’t need another spray from the store. You need to know what’s happening and a solution that actually works. All that starts with an inspection. Enviro Guard Pest Control is locally owned and operated throughout Las Vegas, Summerlin, Henderson, Spring Valley, Centennial Hills, and Clark County.

Steve was very friendly from the beginning. I had a good feeling about his services, even when we first talked over the phone. I’m very specific about the areas outside my home that are sprayed. I have kids who are always playing outside and have VERY sensitive skin. I told Steve the specific areas I wanted treated. He was understanding and followed my instructions carefully. Also, I didn’t notice any bugs in my garage after Steve treated the area. I can tell he cares about his customer’s being satisfied with his work. I highly recommend him.

Steve and team gave a good price explained what type of service they provide and we are happy with our first application, having the option to call them if we see resurgence between applications is a definitely a peace of mind. We have two kids and a toddler who runs around bare feet even in the backyard so, having EnviroGuard treat our surroundings is well worth it, both environmental impact, limited footprint and safety for our kids.

We hired Enviroguard because we wanted to address pest issues without dangerous chemicals. I like that their products are eco-friendly and safe for the family. Their prices are affordable and they are reliable. Certain times of the year, like in the spring, the ants tend to show up more readily and they will always come out and do an extra treatment if necessary. We have had no major issues with bugs since we hired this company. I would highly recommend them.
